Berry Harvester and Packer 

Requirements

• Previous farm experience is an asset but not required

• Able to lift heavy objects

• Able to preform repetitive physical work for several hours at a time including outside in variable whether

• Reliable transportation

• Strong communication and organization skills

​

Duties and Responsibilities

• Harvesting blueberries and strawberries

• Grading and packaging of blueberries and strawberries

• Crop maintenance

• Cleaning and maintaining packaging machinery and building

• Ensuring safety standards are followed 

 

Hours per week: 35 (Full Time)

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Start Date: July 2, 2025

 

Additional Details

Thanks to a grant through the Canada Summer Jobs Program, we have two full time employment opportunities for a young person between 15-30 years of age to work with us at Coast Berry Company. This position will include harvesting and packaging berries from July-September. The start date may vary slightly due to weather and readiness of harvest.
